Successful Completion of three MTh Dissertations


SAC witnessed three successful completion of MTh dissertation in this academic year. The first one to do was Deacon Appunraj. His thesis was entitled:  "The Theology of Inter-religious dialogue according to Raimon Panikkar" and written under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Erik Breye S.J. and examined by Rev. Dr. Selvaraj. It was a combination of both theology and philosophy. The public defense of the thesis was done on April 1, 2015 in SAC Auditorium.
The second dissertation was by Fr. Bhushan Bara. His thesis was on Uraon tribe and entitled, "Conjugal Problems: The impact of Alcohol among Uraon married couples of Jashpur-Raigarh, a moral reflection" which was written under the guidance of Rev. Dr. John Crasta and was examined by Rev. Dr. David Bara. The thesis dealt mainly on Marital issues arising from Alcohol consumption. The public defense of the thesis was done on April 18, 2015 in SAC Auditorium. 
The third dissertation  was by Fr. Arulappan A. His thesis was on Mission and entitled, "Missionary visions and tasks in Varanasi Diocese: A renewed call for integral transformation of the society" which was written under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Joseph Prasad Pinto OFM Cap. and was examined by Rev. Dr. Francis Minj S.J. The thesis dealt mainly on integral transformation brought  in Varanasi diocese by the advent of Christ Bhakta movement and Ashram movements.  The public defense of the thesis was done on April 20, 2015 in SAC Auditorium. 
Several priests, religious, seminarians and people witnessed this event and were enlightened by their research. SAC congratulates them and wishes every success in their future mission.
